Its origins date back to medieval times, and its long history explains its unique and characteristic layout. The Ardene estate once housed the farming families who lived and worked in the valley. Over the centuries, as these families expanded, they first built the main farmhouse and later a second one beside it—both developed on several levels to follow the natural contours of the land. More than thirty years ago, the current owners began caring for the property with great attention, selecting each plant in the park to preserve the area’s remarkable biodiversity. Their wish was to share the authentic atmosphere of the Tuscan countryside with others, and after many years, they decided to restore the entire estate to welcome guests into this special place. With a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, the swimming pool was designed in the lower part of the valley, using natural materials, colors, and shapes that allow it to blend harmoniously into the surrounding landscape. It offers guests the opportunity to relax under the Tuscan sun, in perfect balance with nature and the panoramic views. To reduce the environmental impact and ensure a gentler experience for the skin, chlorine is added only to the compensation tank, not directly into the main pool.
